Housing assistance is available from local nonprofits Advantage Behavioral Health Systems, Family Promise, Project Safe, Acceptance Community Center and The Ark. They split $800,000 the commission recently awarded for rehousing from another federal source, Community Development Block Grants (source).
Eviction Defense Manual
With the help of the Atlanta Housing Justice League, AHAT has created an eviction defense manual for use by Athens-Clarke County residents. This manual is designed to inform you of your rights as a tenant and give a brief walk-through of the eviction process.
